So I tried everything.
And in the middle of all of that:
Travel felt impossibly far away.
At one point I didn’t even see the point in learning how to drive, because I wondered if I would ever own a car.
I hated having to ask my mother for money.
My father died when I was seven.
My mother raised four children while pregnant with the youngest, and she did whatever honest work she could, including menial work.
She once sold her car to help cover housing while I was in university.
I wanted to become the person helping her. Not the person who still needed rescuing.
The crazy part?
I was never lazy.
I was never unwilling to learn.
I just couldn’t figure out what would finally CLICK.
The first glimpse
During the pandemic period, I learned video editing.
Then I turned around and taught it.
I charged ₦1,000. About 50 people paid.
I made ₦50,000.
That excited me, because it proved something I knew could become money online.
But I still didn’t understand the bigger system.
So I kept searching
I bought a program that was supposed to teach me how to make money by promoting products online.
I didn’t even make it to the finish line.
I abandoned it after about three days because I genuinely wasn’t understanding what was going on.
It felt too complicated, and I walked away even more convinced that maybe this whole thing just wasn’t for me.
Then I’d see dropshipping and go off to research it.
Then YouTube automation, and I’d go off to research that.
Then another method. Then another one.

A full year of trying.
A full year of starting things.
A full year of disappointment.
And then December came.
Around New Year, I recorded a long voice note to myself.
I was crying, and I promised myself I would figure this out.

Not “everybody.” Not some vague target audience copied from ChatGPT. A real person with a real problem, desire or goal.
Give them a reason to care about what you’re offering.
This is where you stop sounding like everybody else selling the same thing.
Get the right people to notice you.
Content. Social media. Different platforms. Different formats. Faceless if necessary. Showing your face if you want to. The point isn’t just views. The point is attracting people who could eventually buy.
Turn attention into belief.
Because somebody seeing your post is not the same thing as somebody trusting your recommendation.
Give interested people somewhere to go next.
A WhatsApp group. A DM. A page. An email list. Whatever makes sense for the business you’re building. Now the audience isn’t just watching you. You have leads.
Turn interest into sales.
Learn how people make buying decisions. How to talk about what you sell. How to answer objections. How to make an offer without feeling like you’re begging people to buy.
Do more of what is already working.
Improve it. Automate parts of it. Create systems. Build additional products. Scale the audience. Scale the sales. And stop going back to zero every month.

Pelumi got started around October 2025, in the middle of heartbreak.
She did not have people around her cheering her on to grow, to be driven, to take money seriously.
She reached out to me on TikTok, watched one of my webinars and decided to begin anyway.
Those bigger days came later, after months of doing the work. I am showing them to you as her story, not as a schedule you should expect.
Zhee was a financially struggling 300 level student who had lost both of her parents while she was still in school.
She was running a small P.O.S business while she was in school, making very little from it.

You are not supposed to already know the thing you’re buying a program to learn.
Hooks, content, positioning, bios, funnels: those are learned skills, not personality traits you were born with or without.
Being able to scroll Instagram is not the same as knowing how to use it strategically for a business. Most people are fluent in using the app and completely untrained in using it to sell.
That is what gets taught here: the business purpose behind the content, the platform and the page.
I know that because I once had over 100,000 followers as an influencer and was posting almost every day, mostly for free, with very little idea of how to turn that attention into income.
The followers were not the skill. The skill was the part I had not learned yet.
